Does anyone know "settlers of catan" game online?
I played a game named settlers of catan. My friend said you can play online for free. He said the name but I forgot. I know it didn't acctually contain the name "Settlers of Catan". I know there's one on MSN games but it costs. Im looking for the free version which ,acorrding to my friend, has more game options.
Well, there's JSettlers at http://www.jsettlers.com . You can also download the JSettlers software for your own use at https://sourceforge.net/projects/jsettlers/ (it's written in Java, so it will run just about anywhere).
If you're running WIndows, you may want to take a look at NetSet ( http://home.earthlink.net/~mgardner0/ ). It's another Settlers implementation, and I believe it also has the capability of playing over IRC. I don't use Windows, so I can't comment on the quality of NetSet, but I know many people who enjoy it.
